TYNAN WORSFIELD

Tynan was born in 1980 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada into a fencing family - his Father was then, the Provincial Coach of Manitoba while his Mother was the President of the Manitoba Fencing Association.  Tynan's playground were fencing venues, competition sites and training salles throughout Canada, USA and Australia while accompanying his father, Maitre d'Armes Gary Worsfield in his profession as Provincial Coach for the Manitoba Fencing Association, State Director of Coaching for the Queensland Amateur Fencing Association and National Director of the Australian Academy of Fencing.  Tynan first airplane flight was to a fencing event - the World Student Games (FISU) in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Tynan has been fortunate to remain eligible to compete in all the National junior age competition categories (u13, u15, u17 ,u20) for over a decade.    Tynan now runs Salles EnGarde! on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.  He is currently pursuing the brevet of Maitre d'Armes of the Australian Academy of Fencing and the Academie d'Armes Internationale.   You can contact TYNAN on either tynan@fencingonline.com of phone 0419 018 377
