En Garde! Fencing for Kids - Saturdays 9-10:00am for the very young, (junior primary). All courses include Professional Instruction, a program designed specifically for early childhood development that includes games and play sword-fighting, and all the necessary fencing equipment: foils, swords, masks and Plastron. The 2nd class on Saturdays is for primary-to-junior-high age children, starting at 10:00 am and

En Garde! Fencing Classes for Adults are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm at Lake Kawana Community Centre. Courses include: Professional Instruction, a Nationally recognized level of fencing competency (AAF Bronze Certificate) and all the necessary fencing equipment: foils, masks and plastrons. These classes run alongside fencers who are training on the electrical scoring apparatus for competition performance as Members of the Salle En Garde! Fencers' Club.

How
well you learn and your potential in fencing is determined by the
quality of instruction you receive. Arguably the most important
aspect of fencing education must be the quality of teaching. The primary concern of the Australian Academy of Fencing is to provide the highest level of fencing education (how to fence) and pedagogy (how to teach fencing) to the Sport, Recreation and the Performing Arts Industry. Over the last 3 decades, a number of Fencing Masters have contributed to the development of the En Garde! Fencing program. It is a progressively tiered, skill-goal oriented
program that teaches the concepts of fencing by reinforcing the
feelings and sensations associated with quality performance. It is simply, if you put in the right ingredients you can expect the right results. Fencers who are taught in this manner can expect to experience significant skill improvement as they progress through the various levels of competency.

Academy of Fencing has now taught close to 40 Sport and Recreation Staff that service 5 Active Recreation Camps throughout Queensland. And
in the last year at the Currimundi Active Recreation
Centre alone, 4110 primary school
children were introduced to Fencing, so ... Get
