Classical  Fencing:

WELCOME, to classical fencing and the disciplines: Foil, Epee and Sabre.  The Foil is the basic training weapon of fencing being designed specifically for that purpose and unlike the other disciplines, historically it was never used in combat. The Epee is the descendant of the dueling sword and the sabre developed from the military. So first of all, accustom yourself with the Theory of Fencing and the jargon that you'll hear, view the En Garde! video and then enjoy some excellent examples of foil, epee and sabre fencing.

Artistic Fencing:

WELCOME, to the artistic side of classical fencing. So, just what is Artistic Fencing?  Well, it's a fantastic way of being creative with fencing, to perform in front of a live audience, or for film and TV.  Think of all the shows where artistic fencing has been used to add excitement in a story: Musketeers to Zorro to Pirates to Jedi Masters; and the list goes on!   All the fights are choreographed, which requires creativity, team work, concentration, stamina, dedication to training and performance and, some acting.....Exciting isn't it?!!
